Weingut Stefan Müller, Riesling Niedermenniger Herrenberg Feinherb Spätlese

Off-dry and rich; Spatlese-level quality. Juicy with a delightful tension between fruit and acidity. From a red slate site, picked at miniscule yields of 35hl/ha from a single parcel of vines from 1973, vinified on native yeast. Sponty, juicy and crunchy with the bold yellow fruits typical of red soils, and a keen phenolic texture on the palate, just lightly sweet. One of Stefan's favorite wines of the vintage!
