Sarris, Ribola of Kefalonia 2022

100% Robola. The Robola grape (no relation to Ribolla Gialla) is at home on the islands of the Ionion Sea off the western end of Greece. Kefalonia, home to the Sarris winery, offers some of the the best expressions. This wine is made from 20-40 year old vines, dry farmed at 500-700m of elevation. Fermented with wild yeast and aged in stainless steel for 6 months. Savory, with an herbaceous richness, it boasts more weight and complexity than many island wines while still being delicate enough for light seafood.
