Radikon, Venezia Giuli "SIVI" Pinot Grigo 2021

100% Pinot Grigio. Organic. Radikon, one of the core Friuli producers to make unadulterated, old school wines. This Pinot Grigio bottling was dubbed "Sivi" in the 2016 vintage; it means "grey" in Slovenian and is in reference to the grayish-pink color of the grape's skin. The grapes are destemmed, crushed and co-fermented with natural yeasts in oak vats with no temperature control and no sulfur. Maceration lasts for 10-14 days. After a gentle pressing, the wine is put in 6000L Friuli-made French oak botti for a year on its lees.
