100% Pinot Noir. Practicing organic. Pierre-Vincent Girardin is the 13th generation of his family to make wine in Burgundy. Now with his third vintage done, it's clear he's a rising star. The Cote de Nuits Villages is from 25 year old vines. Aged in barrel (15% new) for 9 months, then 6 months in stainless steel. It boasts generous plum fruit, some earthy richness and a liveliness rarely seen in Burgundy. An exciting new winemaker to watch!
