100% Syrah. Rocco Toscani makes this wine from grapes grown on his family’s estate in Bolgheri region of Tuscany. The winery and label, Oliviero Toscani, is named after his father, the famous Italian photographer. Made entirely of Syrah, this is done in the ancestral method, capping the bottles while fermentation is still in progress, creating the small elegant bubbles (frizzante as opposed to spumante). Unfined and unfiltered.
