100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Mataroa is a Greek take on the Cabernet Sauvignon variety, from the most Bordeaux-like region of Greece, Drama, by the hands of the experienced and French trained vigneron and oenologist, Bakis Tsalkos who is credited with the revival of Greek wine production in the 80's. Contact with skins and stems for 8 days is followed by a first mild press, and aging in stainless steel tank for 4 months on its own lees with regular stirring, until bottled with negligible sulfites. Pure, fresh, with no additions, except for a few sulfites at bottling.
