100% Nebbiolo. The Vaira family farms a tiny plot (.77ha) in the esteemed cru of Cerretta on the eastern end of the Barolo zone. Planted in 1970, the traditional (open top ferment, aging in 1500-2500L Slavonian oak) production of this wine offers a fine elegance and plenty of acidity due to the coolness of the microclimate here, rendering extremely age-worthy wines with a firm tannic backbone and concentrated richness.
