100% Cabernet Franc. Organic. Mike Roth and Craig Winchester have created a real aesthetic of 'get more from less' at Lo-Fi: neutral barrels, native yeasts, little to no sulfur additions, and no adjustment of pH. Cab Franc from Coquelicot Vineyard, was the first of their wines to make us sit up and take notice, maybe 10 years ago. Whole cluster semi-carbonic maceration, entirely aged in old (at least 4 years old) French barrique for 9 months. Dark, savory with great acidity and a core of red fruit that pulls you right in with its charm.
