Herrenhof Lamprecht, Pinot Blanc Sand & Kalk

Organic. Sand and Kalk Pinot Blanc is the entree into the world of Herrenhof. The grape is ideally suited to the calcareous and sandstone soils. The wine is macerated for a short 6 hours on the skins, is fermented with natural yeast in 600L oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered with a small addition of SO2. Lots of richness, surprising depth with tart acidity, herbacious yet focused on the palate. Stunning.
