85% Pinot Gris, 15% Gruner Veltliner. Franchere Wine Company is an exciting project helmed by Mike Hinds. Mike works with small, family owned, responsibly worked, and dry-farmed vineyards. In the cellar, native fermentations, neutral aging vessels, and no adjustments, allowing the wines to speak for themselves. And along with his name, the label depicts his great great grandfather’s ship. Co-fermented with 10 days of skin contact in open-topped bins. The grapes were then pressed to neutral barrique to complete primary fermentation and MLF over a seven month period. Bottled unfined/unfiltered with a minimal addition of sulfur.
