Domaine des Ardoisieres, Cuvee Silice Blanc 2021

100% Jacquere. Organic. From Domaine des Ardoisières, Mont Blanc, the towering mountain keeps watch over this small estate near the Swiss border, shaping the wines so expertly grown and made here. Only indigenous yeasts are used and no SO2 during vinification. 1/3 vinified in barriques (two to three years old), 2/3 in tanks. The wine is then aged for at least 9 months with only one gram of sulfur used at bottling. Now incorporating a bit of fruit from fellow organic farmers, this cuvee gives a glimpse at the best expressions of Jacquere available, bar none.
