Chateau de Musset, Cuvee Compostelle Lalande de Pomerol 2015

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc. The Foucard family has run the estate since 1963, making use of the gravelly sand and clay soils to produce classic right bank Bordeaux. The Cuvee Compostelle is dark and full bodied, reflecting the heat of the vintage. Leather and tobacco with plenty of acidity and a very firm tannic backbone, this one has a long future.
