100% Gamay. Organic. Another love letter to the Loire Valley, and French wine in general from Dana and Scott Frank. To quote: "I elected this year to make slightly less in order to express the single concrete vat of Willakenzie Vineyard Gamay in the cellar. This is a special sight for Gamay - it's never had a drop of herbicide/Round Up since it's planting in '93. A traditional semi carbonic maceration was employed and the wine aged in concrete for eight months. This may be the closest to perfection as I've gotten with Gamay. And it may be that by that I mean the most Fleurie - esque!"
