Antonelli, Montefalco Sagrantino 2016

100% Sagrantino. Certified organic. The Sagrantino grape has been inked to the vineyards of Montefalco in Umbria for hundreds of years, essentially the only place it's grown on earth. Typically characterized by notes of fruit and aromatic herbs, featuring citrus, cherry, wild berry, mint and oregano. On the palate this wine is very structured, with firm and integrated tannins. These are famously long lived wines and are often at their best with long bottle ageing.
