Domaine de Fontsainte, Corbieres Rouge 2021

60% Carignan, 30% Grenache, 10% Syrah. Yves Laboucarié’s family has been making wine here since the seventeenth century and is a great example of high quality that rises above the oceans of wine produced in the Languedoc. After hand harvesting, the Carignan goes through carbonic maceration, giving the wine a touch of aromatic lift along with a rich, earthy body. 6 months in tank followed by 6 months aging in oak barrel.
