Marcobarba is a brand born by Marco and Stefano Menti, who together have developed a project aimed at the recovery and management of some abandoned vineyards owned by elderly widows, in the area between Lonigo and Gambellara. According to Marco and the Barbaboyz, Barbabianca is synonymous with “beva” (which means “easy drink”). The ideal wine for aperitifs and fish-based dinners shared with friends. To pair with gratinated scallops or a plate of pasta with savory sardine-sauce. lots of texture and flavor, light grip and very crisp. hints of almond, chamomile and honeysuckle nose, with a lingering, delicious pear profile and slight zest.
